Sports nutrition company Applied Nutrition is in early talks with Bestway and Booker about ranging its Body Fuel vitamin water brand.
A source at the company told Better Retailing the wholesalers were part of its ambitious growth plans, alongside forecourts, Epicurium and WHSmith Travel sites.
The supplier has recently launched a Drumsticks-flavoured variety of Body Fuel, made in collaboration with Swizzels.

This launch is the first of two collaborations between the brands set to launch this summer. It comes as Liverpool-based Body Fuel sold more than four million units in the four months since launching in December 2022.
Swizzels Drumstick Original Raspberry Body Fuel is available in a 500ml bottle with an RRP of £1.75. It is available from United Wholesale and Tropicana Wholesale, and was available through Spar Scotland in a ‘when it’s gone it’s gone’ run, which the source said it sold through.
