Online price comparison tool mySupermarket revealed it had closed last week.
President Amir Offer and CEO Gilad Simhony said the switch-off of the website on 1 March was to enable the company to “shift its attention to other business areas”.
The website and app enabled retailers to compare prices across all major UK supermarkets, plus high street stores.
Alan Mannings, owner of Shop on the Green Chartham, in Kent, said: “I will have to use other price comparison sites, or I’ll have to look at other major stores price to see how I should benchmark my prices based on how much profit I want to make.”
