Budweiser donates 47,000 face masks to independent retailers

The UK arm of the brewing company also thanked retailers for all their hard work during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic

Budweiser Brewing Group has donated 47,000 face masks to independent retailers during the coronavirus pandemic, through its partnership with ACS and GroceryAid.

Posting the news on Twitter last week, the UK arm of brewer Anheuser-Busch said it was “proud” of the achievement, and thanked retailers for their work to keep businesses open.

Nisa retailer Harj Dhasee said his staff “loved their masks”.

The news comes after the government made it compulsory for retailers in England to wear masks.
