As well as offering a route to Ukrainian products, UCARE will provide free point of sale, planograms and marketing support to retail partners

Ukrainian shelf retail scheme UCARE charity

A new Ukrainian retail scheme is seeking to get Ukrainian goods into UK and Ireland convenience stores to grow shop sales and support victims of the conflict.

UCARE, which launched in September, specialises in helping retailers throughout Europe create a ‘Ukrainian shelf’ in their stores.

The Ukraine-based company offers retailers access to lines including poultry, soft drinks and ready meals from more than 2,000 Ukrainian suppliers.

Half of the money made from sales will be used to help those impacted by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, alongside the rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers. None of the proceeds will go towards funding arms.
