CCEP launches £30,000 festive community giveaway

The initiative follows CCEP’s ’12 Days of Christmas’ convenience giveaway in 2022

A new initiative from Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) will see retailers winning £1,000 every day across November to donate to a local cause of their choice.

The World Needs More Santas Like You launches today (1 November), and gives independent convenience retailers the chance to win a share of £30,000 throughout the month. Each day, retailers registered on My.CCEP.com can enter a prize draw to win £1,000: £500 to donate to a nominated registered local charity or good cause, and another £500 to spend on throwing a festive event or celebration for their local community.

The competition can be entered daily (retailers can only win once) and closes on Thursday 30th November. Winners will be contacted the day after each draw. More information and full terms and conditions are available on My.CCEP.com.

The initiative follows CCEP’s ’12 Days of Christmas’ convenience giveaway in 2022 which had record entries on its trade website and gave away £50,000 wholesale soft drink vouchers to convenience retailers.

Ruth Fawcett, convenience & wholesale associate director at CCEP GB said: “The Coca-Cola brand has been bringing people together at key seasonal occasions for decades and has become synonymous with Christmas. This year’s festive campaign is about inspiring small acts of kindness, be that within a family, hometown of wider community.

“We know that many convenience retailers are every day Santas all year round, supporting their local communities and cementing their businesses as hubs of their local areas. We hope this community fund will help retailers further ‘Unleash their inner Santas’, helping them to make Christmas extra special in their local communities through vital charitable donations, in-store campaigns, and festive community events. We look forward to hearing about what our winners do with the money in December.”

The new ‘The World Needs More Santas Like You’ community giveaway runs alongside the return of Coca-Cola’s iconic Christmas marketing activity which launches later this month.

Convenience retailers will also be able to access festive Coca-Cola branded point of sale materials from My.CCEP.com.
