Popchips returns to cinema screens through £1m ad campaign

Two adverts will air alongside outdoor advertising

KP Snacks has launched a £1m marketing campaign for Popchips, bringing the brand back to cinema screens and outdoor advertising.

Popchips is currently working with ad sellers Pearl & Dean and DCM. A 30-second ‘Popping with positivity’ ad sponsors Pearl & Dean’s Adventure Cinema, made up of a 20-second ad and a 10-second showcase of a social selfie competition offering people the chance to win six months’ supply of Popchips and Pearl & Dean cinema tickets.

The snack brand is also recording a stunt at the Croome Court Adventure cinema, which will be incorporated into a new 40-second advert which will be shown across Pearl & Dean cinemas from October to November.

DCM will also be running the standard 20-second ad from October into 2024.

Additionally, Popchips’ existing ‘Start something good’ messaging will be visible across outdoor locations through to the end of October.

The popchips brand is growing strongly and the new media investment will help to further propel brand awareness.”
