Ginsters to launch NPD trio based on growing trends

The supplier says there is growing interest in Mexican and modern British flavour profiles

Ginsters is set to launch three new pastry products this month inspired by inspired by growing interest in Mexican and modern British cuisines.

The trio consists of a BBQ Hunters Chicken Slice, with chicken and bacon cooked in a BBQ sauce with melted cheese at an RRP of £1.95; a Smoky Beef Chilli Pasty with beef, potato, black turtle beans, kidney beans, tomato, red peppers, garlic and sea salt with a hint of chilli, at an RRP of £1.95; and a vegetarian Mexican Bean Bake, with black and red kidney beans in a spiced tomato sauce, with peppers, smoked cheese and a hint of coriander, at an RRP of £1.50.

The BBQ Hunters Chicken Slice and Smoky Beef Chilli Pasty launch on 25 September, while the Mexican Bean Bake is available from 11 September.

Ginsters to launch updated pack design

New Ginsters products have delivered more than £7.6m chilled food to go growth in the past two years. The new launches come from research indicating a growing interest in Mexican and Modern British flavour profiles.
