Imperial Tobacco has become the third major manufacturer to launch a nicotine pouch, ZoneX.
Available from Booker in two varieties – All White #2 and All White #3 – the product has an RRP of £6.50 and comes in cases of five. With a wholesale price of £21.63+VAT, Booker is offering a profit on return of 20.1%.
An Imperial Brands spokeperson told Better Retailing: “Zone X is currently available in vape stores and limited independent stores while we further enhance our understanding of the consumer and market, before any wider national roll out is confirmed.
“It’s an exciting new proposition that really taps into the emerging oral nicotine delivery segment, as consumer demand for nicotine alternatives continues to grow. We’ll look forward to sharing details on any further launch plans as soon as we’re in a position to do so.”
ZoneX follows JTI’s launch of Nordic Spirit in September last year and British American Tobacco’s Lyft, which is currently only available to specialist vape shops.
