Convenience retailers have the chance to win a store makeover from Walkers as the brand kicks off promotions to celebrate 70 years in the market.

Convenience retailers have the chance to win a store makeover from Walkers as the brand kicks off promotions to celebrate 70 years in the market.

The brand is also launching six limited-edition flavours that promote the nation’s favourite foods over the past decades. Coronation Chicken (1950s), Roast Lamb & Mint (1960s), Cheese Fondue (1970s), Chicken Tikka Masala (1980s), BBQ Rib (1990s) and Sweet Chili (2000s) are available to retailers from March 18.

Walkers’ competition will run for two weeks from 3 April. To enter, retailers must visit the brand’s Counts for More trade website and upload an image of their promotional displays.

Rachel Holms, PepsiCo senior marketing director, said: “Retailers are at the heart of their local community. This is an opportunity for the brand to say thank you by offering retailers the chance to bring the community together.”

The limited-edition range will be backed TV advertising in April, as well as digital activity.

“Our flavour campaigns have always been popular with shoppers and retailers benefit enormously from the buzz that they generate,” she said.

Retailers can enter Walkers’ competition from 3-27 April.
