NFRN asks members to display ‘drivers wanted’ posters for Smiths and Menzies campaign

As part of the campaign, Smiths News is offering a ‘£1,000 start-up bonus’ for drivers with their own van

The NFRN has encouraged members to display ‘drivers wanted’ posters on behalf of Smiths News and Menzies.

Both wholesalers included posters advertising vacancies in magazine tote boxes on 14 October to tackle driver shortages affecting deliveries to shops.

NFRN head of news Brian Murphy said: “Placing the posters in store or in local communities will raise awareness of the urgent need for more delivery drivers.

“I hope members are able to support this recruitment campaign.”
