Fully compliant with the new EUTPD II regulations JTI has broughT Logic Pro from the US to tap into the growing demand for tank e-cigarette devices.

JTI has brought its Logic Pro brand from the US to tap into the growing demand for tank e-cigarette devices.

Fully compliant with the new European Tobacco Products Directive 2 regulations, the range includes four flavours in vacuum-sealed capsules, meaning that they are leak-free.

The launch is backed by a multi-million-pound TV and outdoor campaign.

The range:

Logic Pro Device, RRP £10

Logic Pro Capsules, RRP £3.99 per pack of three

The capsules come in four flavours:

Brazillian Bold Tobacco in 6mg/ml, 12mg/ml and 18mg/ml nicotine strengths

Ice Fjord Menthol in 6mg/ml and 12mg/ml nicotine strengths

Red Cherry in 6mg/ml and 12mg/ml nicotine strengths

White Vanilla in 6mg/ml nicotine strength

Avtar Sidhu of Sukhi’s Simply Fresh & Post Office in Kenilworth, told Retail Express in less than a week he had already sold two units and refills.

“The unit is attractive as it is cheaper than other starter kits. I think it’s got legs but it needs to expand on the flavours. I have been informed that other flavours are on the way,” he added.

The device must be clicked five times to be unlocked, meaning that it can be secured between uses.

Jeremy Blackburn, JTI head of communications, said: “With an estimated two million regular adult vapers in the UK, Logic Pro meets the demand for 85% of those who are now tank users.”

The tank market has grown by 161% in the past year and is the fastest growing sector within the category.
