Iceland in newspapers and magazines trial

Iceland supermarkets have begun a trial of stocking newspapers and magazines, Better Retailing can reveal. 

Sources confirmed the test is underway, with titles supplied and merchandised by Retail Spark rather than news wholesalers. 

The company is also responsible for the reintroduction of newspapers and magazines in Waterstones and Heron Foods this year, with one further major retailer also said to be testing the categories.
