Galaxy owner Mars Chocolate will donate 5p from every special pack and every red flash-marked pack to raise money to help prevent the transmission of HIV from mothers to their babies. The promotion is expected to raise £750,000 for the charity.

The confectioner will support the partnership with a marketing campaign, including digital and outdoor ads, social media and PR, and PoS featuring the celebrities to drive interest in-store.

Tony Lorman, Mars retail excellence director, said: “From teenagers to mothers, our celebrity ambassadors have a very broad appeal, so we are urging retailers to stock up and use the available PoS to drive consumers to buy the exclusive packs.”
