Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo aims to drive 16% growth with new tablets and bags

Mondelez International is launching two Cadbury and Oreo products in tablets and bags this month.

Mondelez International is launching two Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo products in tablets and bags this February.

Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Sandwich is a 92g tablet that contains a layer of chocolate sandwiched between Oreo biscuits, RRP £1.49.

Launching in 110g sharing bags, RRP £1.99, Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Bites are bitesize Cadbury chocolates that contain Oreo filling.

Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo is growing at 16% and will be backed by a £2.5m media spend that includes digital and outdoor advertising.

Francesco Vitrano, Mondelez International chocolate marketing activation director, said the two lines were unlike anything else in the market.

“Eighty-five per cent of shoppers who buy each Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo format are unique to that product, so we believe these launches will bring new shoppers to the market,” he said.
