Bobby’s launches courier delivery service

The courier service has exclusive promotions for retailers, who will also benefit from a wider range than van sales

Bobby’s Foods has launched a courier delivery service for its retail customers, which it says offers them a wider range of products.

The supplier said its van sales were restricting the breadth of its offering to retailers, who can now benefit from a wider range, enhanced stock levels and improved availability.

The Delivered by Courier range also has exclusive deals and promotions, giving retailers more chances to drive profits. One of these, the ‘Sweet deal’ promotion gives retailers £10 off their invoice when purchasing any 10 products from the kids confectionery range, excluding bagged sweets, Bonds or van products.

“Expanding our product range and offering retailers greater flexibility has always been a priority for us,” said John Lucas, national sales manger at Bobby’s. “The introduction of the new delivery model, which complements our regular direct-to-store service, allows us to meet the evolving needs of our valued retail partners. They can now provide their customers with an even broader selection of our popular snacks, cakes, and confectionery, all while benefiting from our exceptional service elements, including our full sale or return guarantee.”

To open an account, retailers can contact their dedicated Bobby’s rep or contact their local depot to open an account.

Bobby’s has also expanded its footprint with the launch of a depot in Crumlin, west of Belfast, its 12th in the UK. The supplier hopes to build on the 500 retailers in Northern Ireland it already serves.

At the opening of the depot, Lucas said: “Thanks to the unwavering commitment and hard work of Bobby’s sales team in Northern Ireland, we now provide our exclusive products to 500 retailers in the convenience trade. Our ambition for 2023 is to further increase this number and continue serving our valued retailers with excellence.”
