Behind the numbers

• The ready-to-drink (RTD) chilled coffee category has grown by £45.5m in the past year.
• Seventy-eight percent of stores are charging above the most common-price of £1 on Coffee & Co’s Caramel Macchiato, going as high as £1.99.
• Fifty-two percent of stores are charging above the most common price on Costa Caramel Swirl Frappe, going as high as £2.29.
• Starbucks Caramel Macchiato has an RRP of £2.60. It’s most common price is £2.20, with just 20% of retailers charging higher.
