Booker partners with InPost

The wholesaler claims it will drive footfall, sales and profits

InPost free parcel collection locker network convenience stores

Booker has partnered with InPost to help symbol stores attract more footfall and potential sales by acting as collection and return points for parcels. 

The deal will see Budgens, Premier and Londis retailers offered the opportunity to install in-store or external lockers. Stores that cannot host lockers will be given the option to act as pick-up and drop-off points for parcels, with the service operated at counters.

Booker claimed the new service will help “drive footfall, sales and profits as well as providing a guaranteed rental income”. They added that the service is “incredibly easy” to use and “non-intrusive”, with no sign-up fees. 

Data from InPost showed 54% of 2,200 locker users in Lidl locations surveyed had made a purchase when they visited.
