Costcutter retailers were asked to submit orders without tobacco due to a glitch in the symbol group’s ordering system.

“This is being investigated by our IT team as a priority,” a spokesperson said.

At Nisa, incorrect prices were uploaded to its systems, resulting in delivery problems.

EPoS provider The Retail Data Partnership also had pricing issues related to the 12 tobacco lines from Booker’s Tobacco Club.
