Ensuring that all staff are well trained in order to retail responsibly can sometimes be challenging, especially for smaller, independent retailers who lack the time and infrastructure that larger retailers have at their disposal.

While we recognise that retailers’ jobs aren’t easy and they are up against time pressures, there can be no excuses when it comes to underage sales.

That’s why JTI is committed to supporting retailers to prevent minors from having access to smoking or vaping products.

As part of this commitment, JTI actively supports a number of campaigns designed to prevent anyone under 18 buying tobacco or vaping products. These include Challenge 25, No ID, No Sale! and IDentify – JTI’s youth access prevention scheme.
