Pladis is bringing popular biscuit brand BN back to shelves under the McVitie’s brand after a four-year hiatus.

The biscuits, with an iconic smiling face shape, will be available in full-sized and Mini varieties.

Full-sized BN packs will come in tower packs of 16 in Chocolate and Vanilla varieties.

Mini BN will be available in boxes of five grab-and-go packs of five biscuits, in Chocolate and Strawberry varieties. All products have an RRP of £1.

Pladis is also targeting calorie-conscious shoppers with the range. Mini BN biscuits contain 35kcal per biscuit, with full-sized BNs containing 85kcal.

The range will be available to convenience and wholesale from February, following an initial launch in Asda stores this week.

“We know that BN biscuits have a place in many British shoppers’ hearts, thanks to their recognisable grin, great taste and a very memorable jingle,” said David Titman, marketing director for McVitie’s at Pladis UK&I.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing them back to supermarket shelves under our iconic McVitie’s brand – the nation’s biggest biscuit brand – to join our collection of biscuit tin favourites, from McVitie’s Chocolate Digestives to McVitie’s Hobnobs, and help retailers benefit from the sales opportunity BN presents.”

McVitie’s BN will be a part of McVitie’s upcoming sponsorship of Britain’s Got Talent, with packs featuring its accompanying promotion.
