PepsiCo recalls batches of Walkers Sensations due to allergen scare

PepsiCo has recalled certain batches of Walkers Thai Sweet Chili Sensations because of incorrect allergen labelling.

The recall was sparked after affected packs did not properly specify they contained the ingredient wheat, which poses a health risk to those with intolerances to gluten. It affects both 40g and 73g £1 pricemarked packs, with a best before date up to and including 29 January 2019.

No other Walkers products are known to be affected. PepsiCo has provided PoS notices about the recall to retailers.
