Nisa celebrates community champions with Making a Difference Locally

Each month, different retailers will get £250 to donate to a local good cause as part of the initiative

Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally (MADL) charity has relaunched the Community Champion initiative this month.

The initiative seeks to recognise the outstanding charitable and community efforts by Nisa retailers, awarding different stores a £250 donation each month to donate to a local good cause through MDL.

Each month, two winners will be named Community Champions, with awards for stores both under and over 3,000sq ft. 

Head of charity at Nisa, Kate Carroll, said: “Nisa retailers have always been passionate about supporting their local communities and this has been evident more than ever during the last 18 months, as we’ve seen countless examples of partners going above and beyond for the communities they serve.

“We are delighted to relaunch our Community Champions initiative to celebrate the fantastic charitable efforts of our retailers and look forward to hearing more stories about the invaluable support they provide.”

To be eligible, Nisa partners must explain how they have recently made a difference in their community, along with photos of their charitable activities.
