NewstrAid launches Christmas card competition for industry children

The winning artist will receive a £50 Amazon voucher and the 2 runners up will each receive a £25 voucher

Industry charity NewstrAid is running a competition to find a design for their 2022 Christmas card.

The competition is open to anyone aged 14 or under who is connected to someone who works, or has worked, in the sale and distribution of newspapers and magazines.

Sinead Flood, welfare manager for NewstrAid said: “Any child under 14 years who is connected to someone from the industry can enter. That connection can be through grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, cousins or parents.”

As well as seeing their design printed and used as the official NewstrAid Christmas card for 2022, the winning artist will receive a £50 Amazon voucher and the 2 runners up will each receive a £25 voucher.

Flood added: “We run this competition each year and love receiving all the creative entries through the post. Choosing the winning design is always the most difficult part and we are really looking forward to seeing what designs the entrants come up with this year.”

Entrants are to send their festive drawings to:

Georgia Cannon
NewstrAid, Suite 2, Thremhall Estate
Start Hill
Bishop’s Stortford

Entrants are asked to include name, age, address and your connection to the news trade. The deadline for entries is 28 October.
