Lost and Found ‘Mary’ vape dispute threatens bestselling disposable lines

A legal claim stated Found Mary copied elements of Lost Mary’s design, brand and name

A legal spat between the owners of the Lost Mary and Found Mary brands threatens to remove some of the bestselling disposable vape lines from sale.

On 27 July, iMiracle UK – owner of the Lost Mary brand and Green Fun Alliance, a vape wholesaler trading as ‘Deep Vaping’ – opened a court claim against Found Mary owner Vape Bars. The claim stated Found Mary copied elements of Lost Mary’s design, brand and name. If successful, Vape Bars could be forced to remove its current Found Mary versions from sale.

Vape Bars “firmly refutes” the claims in its defence filed on 7 September, alleging there are “substantial differences” between the brands, and ‘Mary’ is too common in vape names to be protected.
