Jisp delivers 20% growth in store turnover

Jisp claims its partnered retailers are seeing returns of £900,000 so far this year through its Scan & Save app

Mobile app Jisp has claimed its Scan & Save retailers are thriving despite news of the UK recession, as it claims to deliver 20% growth in store turnover.

“As a convenience store owner, partnering with Jisp has been a game-changer for my business,” said Harmeet Singh, of Nisa Local Convent Road, Ashford, Surrey.

“The discounts they provide not only attract more customers but have significantly boosted my turnover by nearly 20%. Their commitment to supporting small businesses is truly commendable.”

Jisp added that retailers have already seen returns of £900,000 in the year so far through Jisp’s Scan & Save, with the app ‘encouraging repeat visits to stores through discounts’ that are available everyday of a promotional period.

“Since we joined Jisp our sales have shot up by about 15%, meaning extra profit,” said Jav Iqbal, Nisa Local Feltham Road, Ashford, Surrey. “It was one of the best decisions we ever made. If you are willing to put the time and effort into Jisp then the rewards are amazing.”

Jisp’s January sales up 65%

Jisp’s top three performing stores – Pak Supermarket, in Stoke Newington, Hackney, Nisa Colley Gate, in Halesowen, Dudley, and Best One Avondale, in Widnes, Cheshire – have reportedly racked up almost 150,000 redemptions between them since the start of the year. Retailers also receive an extra 6p every time a voucher is tapped and redeemed against a product in their store.

Jisp’s also promises 10p back on every product purchased through Scan & Save, allowing redeemers to potentially earn hundreds of extra pounds to spend in their local store, while also saving over £3,000 annually on groceries.

“With the country falling back into a recession and the cost-of-living crisis still raging on, we’re pleased to offer some respite to retailers and their customers,” said Esther Lawrence, Jisp’s retail director. “Scan & Save is helping retailers offer a genuinely rewarding loyalty package to their customers, which given how pinched budgets are currently is having the added benefit of keeping shoppers coming back more often.

“The discounts and reward customers can earn exceed many offered through the nation’s supermarkets, and the footfall, sales and margin driving nature of the app means retailers reap the reward as well. It’s a win-win scenario.”
