Green & Black’s gets a refresh

The new design is available now and aims to reinforce the brand’s commitment to ethically sourced cocoa

Mondelez International has unveiled a new package design across its Green & Black’s Organic tablets range to help encourage trade up within the category.

The new design is available now and aims to reinforce the brand’s commitment to ethically sourced cocoa. Five of the Green & Black’s Dark bars will also be registered with The Vegan Society, including 70% Dark, Ginger, Maya Gold, and Hazelnut & Currant.

A category-first chocolate intensity scale will also feature on the new design. The scale, located on the front of pack, will help guide consumers through the brand’s organic range and encourages them to discover the best bar suited to their taste preferences.

The news follows the launch of Green & Black’s new ‘Wildly, deliciously, organic’ platform, which will be rolled out throughout 2021.

Susanne Nowak, brand manager for Green & Black’s and Mondelez International, said: “This year, the Green & Black’s brand will be celebrating its 30-year anniversary; and will be marked with another category first, as well as visual brand refresh.

“The new packaging will be reflected through a broader marketing campaign, including video on demand, outdoor advertising and social media activity.”
