Fresh to Store adds local lines for Scottish retailers

Scottish retailers are now able to provide more regional food to their customers with new lines from Fresh to Store.

Orders will be delivered by Fresh to Store’s Scottish van fleet. The range includes lines from seasonal Scottish produce specialist Scotty Brand and ready meals and pies from McIntosh of Strathmore.

There are also meats from Glasgow-based Calder Millerfield, regional cheese from Rowan Glen, bakery products from McGhee’s, pies and pastries from Pars Foods and cakes from Motherwell’s Kerrs Bakery.

Sue Cronin-Jones, trading director at Fresh to Store, said the range is in response to Scottish retailers requesting more local food for their customers.

“It is a great way for us to give Scottish chilled food producers a route to the chilled convenience market and offer our retailers a range of fantastic foods,” she added.

Retailers can order by phone, online or via Fresh to Stores’ new GoKart app. All orders placed will be dispatched with the retailer’s next day delivery.
