Budweiser Brewing Group (BBG) is set to delist Bud Light Seltzer in the UK, as it looks to focus on developing its other ready-to-drink (RTD) brands.
Better Retailing has seen correspondence from a leading wholesaler advising that the supplier would be removing the product “in the new year”, although its Lemon & Lime, Strawberry and Passionfruit varieties are available while stocks last.

Bud Light Seltzer launched in the UK in April 2021, and was the official hard seltzer sponsor of the England Men’s Football team during Euro 2020.
A spokesperson for BBG said: “Bud Light Seltzer will be discontinued in the UK, as BBG focuses on growing RTDs with proven consumer favourites, Corona Tropical and Mike’s Hard Seltzer. Bud Light Seltzer lives on in other markets.”
