Accolade Wines has launched an Orchard Fruits variety of its Echo Falls Fruit Fusion wine range.

The blush pink wine (9% ABV) is available initially to wholesalers including Parfetts, Bestway and Bargain Booze before a wider rollout, at an RRP of £5.50. It features flavours of apple, plum and pear with notes of spice.

The supplier is targeting female drinkers aged 18-30 who enjoy fruitier, higher-ABV options when socialising.

Alexandra Colson, senior brand manager at Echo Falls, said: “Echo Falls Fruit Fusion is an established winner within the wine category. We know the brand already plays an important role in recruiting younger people to wine and it’s our job to bring fresh innovations to the table to ensure wine stays relevant.

“Capitalising on the strength of the Echo Falls pink portfolio, Orchard Fruits will target existing fruit cider drinkers who take pleasure in the sweet, refreshing taste offered by flavoured ciders. Our audience want fuss-free drinks that can accompany their social occasions, whether that’s a mid-week catch-up, a Saturday night out or boozy brunches.”

Accolade is supporting the launch of Orchard Fruits with branded PoS and merchandising within wholesale, as well as an influencer campaign to drive consumer awareness.
