A new face is muscling in on the coffee-to-go sector, as the company behind EasyJet launches a hot drink machine that is available to convenience retailers.

EasyCoffee To Go allows retailers to offer their shoppers drinks such as bean-to-cup coffee, teas and hot chocolate for an RRP of £1.20-£1.80.

Retailers can choose from three different models depending on the space they have available and the number of cups they sell.

The machines are free and receive a weekly service by the company. The profits are split with the retailer after deducting ingredients and maintenance costs.

Nick Patterson-Jones, EasyCoffee brand director, said: “We’ve trialled 20 machines in EasyHotels, EasyGyms, as well as Nisa and Spar retailers. We’re aiming to site 500 machines by the end of the year.”

Spar retailer Raj Aggarwal is trialling the machines in his Leicestershire stores. “I decided to partner with the Easy brand because it’s trusted, shoppers know it means good value and they associate it positively with their holidays,” he said.

What you need to run EasyCoffee
