PepsiCo is expanding its Doritos range with the launch of new Doritos Stax, available from late April with an RRP of £2.50.

Doritos Stax will be available in four flavours, including Ultimate Cheese, Sour Cream & Onion, Mexican Chilli Salsa as well as Tesco exclusive, Flaming Chicken Wings.

Available in triangular 170g tubes, the company claims Doritos Stax are perfect for those looking to push the boundaries of their taste buds and try a snack with more excitement.

Clafoutie Sintive, marketing director on sharing snacks at PepsiCo, said: “Historically, canister snacks is a segment that is shopped by over 45s, but we want to extend that by targeting a younger audience.

“We know that Doritos appeals to generation Z, a generation that looks for brands that challenge the status quo, so we’re confident the launch of Doritos Stax and our bold flavour choices will bring younger shoppers to this segment.”

The launch marks the brand’s biggest ever launch and will be supported with a TV ad, digital advertising campaign, as well as influencer partnerships across social media.
