Doritos gets festive with release of new big bag format and design

PepsiCo has launched a new 300g big bag format of Doritos, in addition to limited edition festive designs across its sharing formats.

PepsiCo has launched a new 300g big bag format of Doritos, in addition to limited edition festive designs across its sharing formats.

The Christmas themed packs will feature snow-capped Doritos and a twist on traditional Christmas slogans, including ‘All I want for Xmas is Doritos’, ‘I’m dreaming of Doritos’ and ‘Deck the halls with Doritos’.

The seasonal designs can be found across Tangy Cheese, Cool Original and Chilli Heatwave in 150g and 180g packs, as well as new 300g big bags.

Ceri Bustin, Doritos marketing assistant, said: “Big night in is worth £1.8bn every year and with people having nights in, and parties with friends and family over the festive season, there’s a huge sales opportunity for retailers. In recent years we have seen sales of sharing packs double over the Christmas period.”
