Costcutter partners with defibrillator supplier

Costcutter retailers can now access heart defibrillators as part of a new relationship between the symbol group and supplier London Hearts.

The medical devices are designed to bring the heart of anyone suffering from cardiac arrest back into a regular rhythm. In a message to retailers, Costcutter said: “As a local retailer at the heart of your community, you are perfectly placed to consider installing a defibrillator outside your store.”

Costcutter has suggested retailers hold fundraising campaigns or events under social distancing guidelines to help cover the cost of the machines.
