Cadbury Creme Egg campaign launched to celebrate 50 birthday

Mondelez International has announced a new ‘Golden Goobilee’ campaign to celebrate 50 years since Cadbury Creme Egg was launched.

The campaign will focus on a 60” hero film highlighting on the different ways Cadbury Creme Egg shoppers have enjoyed the Easter chocolate for the past 50 years.

Spanning across social media, TV and in-store, the campaign will include Mondelez UK’s debut on social media platform, Tik Tok, to encourage as many shoppers as possible to get involved.

Golden versions of the Cadbury Creme Egg will be released for shoppers to find in store, giving them the chance to win up to £5,000 throughout the Easter season. According to the supplier, two hundred golden Cadbury Creme Eggs will be hidden, masquerading as a classic Creme Egg in stores across the country.

Cadbury 2021 Easter range announced by Mondelez

Independent retailers also have the chance to win a variety of cash prizes or Amazon vouchers, up to £1,000, with 30 golden egg hidden within the convenience channel. To participate, retailers must use Cadbury PoS. Retailers can find out more by visiting www.deliciousdisplay.co.uk.
