1. Cater for every type of customer

Bharti explains that she serves both ends of the customer spectrum, from Lords to those in social housing. She attempts to cater for them both with premium products and price-marked packs.

2. Love it

“We’re our own bosses and have complete control,” Bharti says.  The couple understand that to thrive in retail, it’s important to have passion for convenience and the community.

3. It’s never too late to learn

The Chavdas signed up to Twitter two months ago. Unsure where to start they asked customers for help and now promote offers and show support for the local community.
