Vape supplier Riot Labs has unveiled Connex, a new device with a detachable, rechargeable battery.
The supplier says switching to the device could help reduce the number of vapes going to landfill.
Connex consists of the battery, which is rechargeable up to 500 times, and a 600-puff flavour capsule that attaches to the battery.

At launch, there are 13 flavours: Pink Lemonade, Mango Peach & Pineapple, Classic Tobacco, Pineapple Ice, Guava Passionfruit & Pineapple, Watermelon Ice, Grape Ice, Strawberry Blueberry Ice and Blueberry Sour Raspberry.
The capsules are made exclusively from recycled plastics and can also be recycled at home.
Connex is initially launching in a 20mg nicotine strength variant, with 10mg and 0mg variants to follow this spring.
It is available in a 1,200 Puff Kit with two flavour capsules (RRP £7.99). Capsules are also available individually at an RRP of £2.99.
