Pernod Ricard unveils UK-exclusive Absolut Hunni

The new flavour will be available to independents in April following a timed exclusive launch in Tesco this month

Pernod Ricard has unveiled Absolut Hunni, a new variety of the vodka brand that is exclusive to the UK.

Available to the wider off-trade from April following an exclusive launch in Tesco this month, Absolut Hunni (38% ABV) has a £22 RRP.

It has no added sugar and has a honey taste, which the supplier says offers flavoured vodka fans an alternative to fruit-led options.

Honey has also been identified as an emerging flavour profile in the UK spirits market. The bottle’s packaging has black and yellow stripes to aid stand-out on shelf and emulate the appearance of a honeybee.

Ian Peart, commercial director for Pernod Ricard UK, said it has been designed to be enjoyed with lemonade, to elevate at-home consumption occasions with a simple combination.
