McVitie’s promises prizes through ‘Great Biscuit Break Bonanza’ promo

Retailers can also win cash prizes when they purchase three cases of participating products

Pladis has launched ‘The Great Biscuit Break Bonanza’ giveaway for shoppers, with up to £1m of prizes to be won across 26 bestselling McVitie’s lines.

The giveaway is live for six weeks, with the participating lines featuring a ‘Buy Scan Win’ on-pack mechanic.

Prizes include cash giveaways, beach breaks, staycations, spa breaks, food deliveries and money-off coupons.

Retailers can also win cash prizes when they purchase three cases of participating products.

McVitie’s launches year-round Victoria gifting lines

James King, marketing director – McVitie’s at Pladis UK&I, said: “After the success of our Bring Back the Biscuit Break campaign last year – which helped us to double sales growth during the campaign – we wanted to remind the nation that taking a well-deserved break should be part of everyone’s daily routine.

“Our mission is to encourage as many people as possible to take a breather, and we’re doing this by offering a huge mix of different break-related prizes. From biscuit breaks to holidays abroad, we’re confident that the prizes up for grabs will grab the attention of biscuit lovers everywhere.”

The campaign is being supported with radio, social media and shopper marketing.
