Kingfisher Beer Europe (KBE) has rebranded to Kingfisher Drinks to reflect its broadened portfolio of alcoholic beverages.

The supplier, which was set up more than 30 years ago to distribute Indian beer Kingfisher to the UK and Europe, says the old name no longer feels relevant to its current scope.

It now distributes Peacock Cider and a spirits range including Makai Spiced Rum, 5 Walla Cream Liqueur and Blackland bourbon whiskey. Its lager range also continues to grow, with Sagres, Yeastie Boys and Sapporo all under its umbrella.

Additionally, it has expanded its geographical footprint to export its products to North America, South America, Africa and the Middle East.

However, the supplier has kept the usage of Kingfisher in its name, as it is its flagship brand and, as India’s top-selling beer, provides it with prestige and awareness.
