Aunt Bessie’s to bring back limited-edition Heart-Shaped Yorkshires in March

Availability runs from 10 - 30 March in Nisa and Co-op stores

Aunt Bessie’s is relaunching the limited-edition Heart-Shaped Yorkshires it first launched in 2019.

Having originally launched the product in 2019 to coincide with Valentine’s Day, Aunt Bessie’s is now making it available for Mother’s Day.

The Yorkshires will be available from 10 – 30 March at Nisa and Co-op stores at an RRP of £1 for a pack of six.

Eight ways to grow frozen sales in 2021

The relaunch comes as research from Aunt Bessie’s sister brand Birds Eye reveals that 74% of convenience stores have seen rising demand for frozen food in the past year.

Additionally, 42% said the frozen category grew more than any other.

Louise Grace, senior brand manager at Aunt Bessie’s, said: “Mother’s Day this year is likely to look very different from previous years, and it’s very likely that families won’t be able to share as many moments together.

“We were therefore keen to help add a special touch to mealtimes with the relaunch of Heart-Shaped Yorkshires, giving shoppers the chance to enjoy either at home with close family or perhaps via a virtual Mother’s Day catch-up instead.”
