Aryzta Food gets a taste of the Middle East

Designed to tap into demand for exotic flavours, Aryzta Food Solutions has introduced two Middle Eastern-inspired Spinach Pide products to its range.

The products, a Spinach Pide with Gyros Chicken, and a Spinach Pide with Mozzarella, Basil & Tomato, are available at an RRP of £2.75, and are supplied frozen in cases of 18.

The pides have been developed to cater to growing consumer demand for cuisine inspired by flavours from around the world, and the supplier is advising retailers to use PoS and lunchtime meal deals to entice shoppers.

Paul Whitely, Aryzta head of marketing, said: “The trend for street food has now made its way into retail, with world cuisine increasingly reflected in flavour profiles.”
