Budweiser, Beck’s and Stella Artois manufacturer AB InBev has announced it will provide customers with full nutritional information on packs and online.

The information will be available per 100ml and per portion size. It will cover energy values, fat, saturated fats, carbohydrates, sugars, proteins and salt.

Rolling out this year, AB InBev intends to have the information in place on at least 80% of its European volumes by the end of 2017.

Anna Tolley, legal and corporate affairs director for AB InBev, said: “While the EU continues to discuss the best way forward for nutritional labelling in our industry, we want to give consumers the information they need at their fingers to make well-informed choices.”
