Global Brands has added a new Watermelon flavour to its VK portfolio, following consumer demand for the popular taste.

Growing at 24% in value and at 23% in volume, VK remains the fastest growing ready to drink product avaiable in a 10-pack format.

Jen Draper, head of marketing at Global Brands, said, “Pink drinks are hot right now and our consumers seem to think so too. Plus, watermelon is set to be a key flavour trend in 2019.”

Stock will be available to wholesalers from mid-November, and to shoppers from February 2019.
