Unilever unveils price-marked packs for Lost the Pot Noodle

The block noodle format is now worth £75m and growing 18.2% year on year

Retailers can now stock Lost the Pot Noodle in 99p price-marked packs (PMP) to give them “the opportunity to profit from the increasingly popular block noodle format, which is now worth £75m,” according to owner Unilever.

Lost the Pot Noodle Roast Chicken and Curry PMPs are available to independent convenience retailers to stock from now.

The range was launched last month in three flavours, Roast Chicken, Curry and Sweet Chilli.

The supplier said the products aim to help busy families with a quick and easy dinner solution, especially as home cooking becomes more popular.

Stuart Jeffery, pot brand and snacking brands lead at Unilever, said: “The new packs have been designed to attract even more shoppers through value perception, and in turn gain their trust.

“The range is easy to make and will be supported by a £3.5m campaign, including TV, video and digital.”
