Tic Tac aims for Minions magic with banana blitz

Retailers are welcoming the return of Tic Tac Minions, with each sweet looking like one of the loveable yellow cartoon creations, both in shape and colour.

The sweets’ return – they were initially launched last summer – will be heralded through social and in-store activity.

The return of the Tic Tac Minions, in three different sizes, was welcomed by retailers.

Sunder Sander of S&S One Stop, Leamington Spa, said: “I was lucky enough to be one of the first retailers to stock Tic Tac Minions last year and they were the talk of the town.

“They flew off the shelves. I can’t wait to see them back again and I’m sure that my customers will feel the same.”

Ferrero customer development director Levi Boorer said it made sense to bring the sweets back as consumers have a real affinity for both Tic Tac and the Minions franchise.

“New products are still the lifeblood in confectionery as we’ve seen by the positive response to the recently launched Tic Tac Mixers,” he added.

“It’s great to be able to show the more humorous side of the Tic Tac brand while still being able to offer retailers a way to drive additional sugar confectionery sales.”
