Conviviality Retail has announced the acquisition of the entire share capital of KMD Enterprises Ltd, boosting its portfolio with 15 further convenience stores.
Following the deal, the majority of the South East-located stores will be converted to the Bargain Booze Select Convenience fascia and added to Conviviality Retail’s existing estate of more than 700 stores.
David Robinson, managing director of Conviviality Retail, said: “The acquisition of KMD further strengthens our convenience store business, and again demonstrates our ambitious growth plans in this area.
“These new stores are located in the South East of England and this is an important geographic expansion for Conviviality Retail as our brands are currently underrepresented in this region.
“We will continue to grow our store estate, partnering with both new and existing franchisees to help them grow their store portfolios with quality, well located retail outlets.
“We look forward to working with all of our new colleagues and helping them serve the communities in which they operate.”
