Santa took time out of his busy schedule this year to visit convenience stores from across the UK.
James Retail Group’s Bottesford Bargain Booze Select in Nottingham, Susan Connolly’s Pennings Road Spar in Tidworth, Aman and Joga Uppal’s One Stop Mount Nod in Coventry and Lawrence Hunt’s Liverpool Road Spar in Liverpool all received visits.
Speaking exclusively to Retail Express, Santa commented: “I’ll always pop into my local shop to get a few tips on what local people are after, and to pick up a couple of cans for me and the reindeer on the journey home.”
Retailers previously told Retail Express that they plan in-store Santa events as part of both charity and footfall driving initiatives.
