Spar has launched three premium own-label ice creams.
Vanilla with Salted Caramel Sauce and Belgian Chocolate Shavings, Indulgent Chocolate Ice Cream with Chocolate Sauce and Belgian Chocolate Shavings and White Chocolate with Mixed Berry Sauce and Belgian Chocolate Shavings will be available to the symbol’s stores from 17 November, in 480ml tubs at an RRP of £3.
They are available for retailers to buy in cases of nine.
Spar Spotlights own-label top sellers with new initiative
Adam Georgiou, Spar UK brand manager, said: “The new product flavours chosen are some of the most popular in the market and at only £3 each, they will be very appealing to customers looking for great taste and excellent value given the cost-of-living crisis.
“This category has seen continuous growth over the last four years in both value and volume sold with sales of premium tubs growing in popularity over the winter months. We are delighted to be able to give our Spar stores the opportunity to take a good share of this market, as customers look to trade up to less costly premium options to indulge at home.”
The symbol is supporting the launch with in-store PoS, available from launch until 2 January 2023, digital advertising and Spar’s in-store radio.
