New Gordon's and Smirnoff pre-mix cocktails

Diageo has added two new ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails to its range: Gordon’s Pink Martini and Smirnoff Passion Fruit Martini, RRP £2 (5% ABV).  

Available in black recyclable aluminium cans, the new additions capitalise on the pre-mix cocktail market, which is growing at 43.8% year on year.

The supplier said Gordon’s Pink Martini mixes the “biggest spirits launch in the last decade”, Gordon’s Premium Pink Distilled Gin, with raspberry juice and berry flavours.

Meanwhile, capitalising on the UK’s most popular cocktail in 2019, the Pornstar Martini, Smirnoff Passion Fruit Martini mixes Smirnoff No. 21 Premium Vodka with passion fruit juice and fruit and vanilla flavourings. The cocktail is lightly carbonated.

Anita Robinson, marketing director at Diageo for Great Britain, said: “With 72% of consumers saying the brand of spirit is important when selecting pre-mix cocktails, we’re excited to be launching two mixed cocktails in a convenient format from two of the biggest spirits brands in the world.”
