Agreement with Frontline secures Newspro stores extra allocation of important upcoming launches.

Newspro celebrates 1,000 retailer signups with new deals

Newspro, the news and magazine management service for NFRN members, has reached 1,000 users and signed a deal with distributor Frontline to bring offers to independents.

The service handles ranging, allocation and merchandising of the category.

NFRN head of operations Brian Murphy said users were selling more while spending less time and money managing the category. “It is driving efficiency and bringing access to product and promotional copy that can often be in limited supply to independent retailers,” he said.

The Frontline deal gives Newspro stores extra secured allocation of a Bella Weekly 7 January edition, including free Slimming World memberships.

Frontline national account manager Steve Rogers said it had agreed four promotions “to drive sales across the membership” of Newspro.
